This is another flagship programs of IIKM offered in Calicut-Kerala campus, bench marked against the curriculum designed of the Indian context. IIKM enables its students to graduate with a multiple certification program an MBA and a GSM, in two years of study. Global Strategic Management Program (GSM) is industry approved autonomous program of IIKM and the MBA degree is awarded by Bharathiar University, a UGC recognized Tamilnadu state Govt. University. The program provides a two fold advantage to the students in acquiring a recognized degree from a NAAC Accredited University and one from IIKM. This is done with the objective of providing a University based learning program and the second to reach beyond the curriculum of the University. This Management Program has gained ready acceptance by the industry, which is looking for contemporary learning and multi tasking managers.

Master of Business Administration - MBA

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is an integrated program designed to provide an advanced course in management for those seeking managerial positions in the industry, commerce and services. The core subjects are aimed developing knowledge and skills in management discipline with specializations in functional areas. The student successfully completing this program will get MBA Degree from a UGC, MHRD recognized Government University.

Eligibility: Graduate (10+2+3) and final year students, from a UGC recognized University Selection Process: Selection is based on aptitude test and online psychometric test. A valid score on CAT/ MAT / XAT/ IIKM Entrance Test. Those who are not taken these entrance exams can take IIKM Entrance exam.

GSM - Global Strategic Management

The GSM Program in Management juxtaposes the courses of the MBA Program with additional courses which are either prescribed by the industry or motivated by our experience of placing students. The additional course not only gives a well rounded knowledge but makes them relevant and ready for the industry. The curriculum incorporates a few foundation modules designed to equip the students with professional skills of communication, decision making, thinking and Industry experience. Universities Curriculum rarely focuses upon skills development in students. All over the world there is a focus on skills required while performing at workplace such as language, communication and negotiation skills etc. The basic purpose of above said is to increase the employability factor of students, only traditional class room & lab trainings are not enough. University degrees are required because they are statutory & mandatory for higher education & jobs in Government and Private Sector. However to secure jobs, sustenance and to do well in global environment of today value addition is must.
There is a requirement for dual curriculum the one as designed by the Statutory Bodies or Universities as it is concepts oriented & provides fundamental knowledge to the students but is rarely updated keeping the changes in technology and needs of the industry in view of the second certification that is regularly updated with the changes in requirements and Technology which makes our students preferred choice of industry.
